The masjid is more than a place of prayer — it is the foundation of faith, leadership, and community. The AMLC Masajid Department exists to strengthen mosques, empower their leaders, and ensure every masjid becomes a hub of worship, knowledge, and service for all generations.
Why the Masajid Department Exists
Throughout Islamic history, the masjid has been the center of life: a house of worship, a school, a court of justice, and a place where the Prophet ﷺ built community.
But today, many mosques face challenges: limited resources, outdated structures, lack of governance training, and disconnects with youth and families.
The Masajid Department exists to revive the prophetic model of the masjid — making each mosque a vibrant home for faith, learning, service, and leadership.
